All bikes come with
High Security Lock
All bikes are provided with a high security lock and cable to keep it safe.
Bike Lights
Front and Rear lights provided with all bikes.
Free Maintenance
Free Repair and Maintenance during your rental.
Saddle
A comfortable waterproof saddle is essential.
Gears, Chain & Mudguards
Mudguards keep you and your clothes clean and dry.
Various Sizes
With a range of sizes we'll have a bike to fit you.
Availability
Individuals can come along to rent a bike at any time of year (no booking required), we keep plenty of bikes ready to go. Within a few minutes you’ll have a bike to use. In the summer season (July/August) we suggest letting us know that you’re coming to visit us if you are a group of 5 or more people.

EMAIL OR TELEPHONE RESERVATIONS CAN BE ARRANGED FOR CHILDREN’S BIKES DURING PEAK SEASON (JUNE – AUGUST)
Please provide height and gender in your request.
We only have a limited number of small kids bikes, tag-a-longs (5/6 year) and child seats (15 months – 3.5 years). Our smallest bikes are 20″ wheel size catering for 6 years and above. More details below.
Sorry we don’t offer stabilizers, trailers or tricycles.
Children between 4 – 6 years without experince can be hard to cater for.
Group Hires / Bike Events
GROUP BOOKINGS DURING PEAK SEASON (JUNE 25TH – AUGUST 25TH) SHOULD BE MADE IN ADVANCE
As specialists in long term bike hires we cater for groups for any period from a half day rental, corporate and conference bike events or extended educational study groups of a few weeks. If your group is more than 5 people then we will need to prepare a booking in advance. Please contact us with details and we will reply to discuss the possibilities.
B2B Bike Leasing
Over the years we’ve been approached by a number of local companies to offer bikes fleets for employees and visitor to be able to access cycling from the workplace. This is a tailored service, so through understanding the clients requirements and agreed specification we provide fully equipped bikes along with a scheduled servicing and repair plan within an contract for bikes, accessories and maintenance. Contracts can be renewed upon completion and clients will receive all new equipment. Please contact us if your company is considering such an idea to as we will be happy to discuss the possibilities.
Short Hires
If you are visiting Cambridge for a short time, we recommend you look at our City/Trekking bikes for adults. These bikes are versatile and good for use in the city and longer day rides out into the country. Your bike will come with lights and a lock as a standard feature.
Student Hires
If you are in Cambridge to study for a longer period of time or just feel a little more adventurous take a look at our student bikes with very affordable rates that offer service and repair included in the hire cost. Your bike will come with lights and a lock as a standard feature.
We recommend that you don’t use headphones when riding a bike.

Family add-ons for young children: Child seats and Tag-a-longs for small children (not trailers)
Please telephone 24 hours in advance to check availability, at peak times everybody wants these add-ons and we can’t take bookings in advance. Please be aware that we can only cater for one child per adult bike with this equipment available to hire.
Hamax rear fitted seats available to parents with children aged 15 months – 40 months (3.5 years maximum).
Tag-a-longs option for parents with children aged 5 years – 6 years (with experience).
*Note add-ons are only available to hire with our City bikes. If you’re child is not within the age ranges above we may not have an option for you.
We have to consider safety first.
Optional Extras:
Helmet
Helmets are not compulsory in the U.K. but we always have plenty available for your peace of mind should you want to use one. We only ask for a small fee for hires up to 6 weeks and have new helmets available to buy for longer periods.
Basket
A basket can be fitted to any bike on request.
Damage Insurance
We offer a Damage Insurance for your peace of mind. In the event of any damage caused to your bike, such as collision, accidental or third party liabilities you won’t be charged and you will be refunded your full deposit. This does not cover lost/stolen bikes, accessories or bike locks and keys.
This option is only offered to you on the first day of hire and cannot be taken after that date. Please see our table of prices below.

Find Us
Our store is located in one of the city’s parks (Lammas Land) and just a short walk along the river from central Cambridge. It’s a car free location, great for riding to the famous village of Grantchester and around much of the University of Cambridge. Our bikes are ready to go and we’ll be happy to give you advice and give directions to any destination.
